All about this treatment
Polynucleotide (PN) skin boosters are injectable treatments that use highly purified fragments of DNA (often derived from salmon) to stimulate the skin’s natural healing and regeneration. They help repair damaged cells, increase hydration, and improve overall skin quality.
What they do:
– Stimulate collagen and elastin production for firmer, more elastic skin
– Improve hydration and radiance
– Reduce inflammation and support skin repair
– Target fine lines, wrinkles, laxity, and dryness
– Improve uneven tone, acne scars, and dark circles
How long it takes:
A PN skin booster treatment usually takes around 60 minutes.
How it’s administered:
A qualified practitioner injects small amounts of the PN solution into the dermis (the middle layer of the skin) using very fine needles. Treatments are typically carried out as a course of sessions, with gradual improvements seen over several weeks.
Aftercare:
– Avoid touching or rubbing the treated area for at least six hours
– Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, and hot showers for 24 hours
– Avoid make-up for 12 hours unless advised otherwise
– Use daily SPF 30+ to protect results
– Drink plenty of water to support skin hydration
– Follow any specific advice given by your practitioner
