Supporting Mind — My Promise, My Purpose
There was a time in my life when I had nothing…
No safety, no money, and no certainty for the future.
Domestic abuse left me frightened, isolated, and unsure how to rebuild my life.
In one of my darkest moments, Mind — the mental health charity — helped me find support, stability, and hope again. Their compassion gave me the strength to begin healing when I felt completely alone.
When I first arrived with nothing but fear and a few belongings, I found a small handwritten note tucked into a duvet that had been given to me. It read:
“Help someone else when you succeed.”
I held onto that promise.
Today, after rebuilding my life and creating Grace HQ, I am finally in a position to give back. Every Tuesday, I carry out Random Acts of Kindness in honour of that message… but now I want to do even more.
